SONY PICTURES CLASSICS
Consolata Boyle
Based on a true story, this film is set in the early part of the 20th
century. A young naval cadet is falsely accused of theft, which he
denies, and the plot is set in motion when his family decides to fight
the charge. The movie has been adapted from the well-known play by
Terence Rattigan, and speaks of a family's courage, and the enormous
toll their struggle brings to them all. Before working on this David
Mamet film, costume designer Consolata Boyle had an extensive background
designing in British films. |
