Dancing at Lughnasa

This story revolves around the relationships of five unmarried sisters and their unusual family. The film is set amidst the somberness and poverty of Ireland in the mid 1930's. Joan Bergin created costumes which truly reflect the painful, constrained world in which the sisters live.
