Having a great first-date outfit at the ready is always a good plan. I think good dating attire is clothing that makes you look feminine and a little bit girly. A great choice for dates is a skirt or dress, because guys love seeing legs! Well-fitting pants or your best jeans are another option.

Clothes don’t have to be tight or revealing to be sexy. Wearing tops that are low-cut or stomach-baring isn’t necessary. You can do just as well wearing something peasant-y and bohemian that’s loose-fitting because this look is feminine and pretty, which guys like. Or you can choose to show off your shoulders and arms with a sleeveless or off-the-shoulder top. Remember, the mystery of what someone can’t see is often more powerful than what they can!

For dates, a smaller, neat handbag or shoulder bag is preferable to a huge tote bag. If the weather permits, wear sandals, and give yourself a pedicure. Sparkly jewelry such as a crystal necklace, earrings, and/or bracelet is a nice touch.

Grooming is another aspect of dating attire. Hair and skin should be extremely clean. Light makeup can be worn, such as mascara and lip-gloss, even if that isn't customary for you. And don't underestimate the power of perfume!

Remember that the most important aspect of the clothing you wear on a date is that it makes you feel confident about yourself! Knowing that you look good comes across as that special glow.
