One of the cool and weird things about boys is that most of them don't follow girls' fashions, so they don't know or care what the totally trendy fashion looks are. So they probably won't notice if you're wearing pants from two years ago with a top from three years ago! They just care if you look pretty. Hard to remember, when we're with our female friends and everything's all about fashion, fashion, fashion, and who's wearing the latest thing and who's not, but that's not what boys are thinking or caring about. They're looking at your figure, of course, but keep in mind that lots of different kinds of figures appeal to boys. They like all different shapes and sizes of girls. They also notice clean, shiny hair, a great smile, and a girl who carries herself with confidence and likes herself. That's why sometimes it seems as if guys respond to the girls with the hot clothes -- because as girls, great clothes give us confidence, and make us walk with our heads held high. We feel good, and it shows.

So you see, any style that makes YOU feel great is probably going to attract boys, because it's how you feel about yourself that you project from the inside out. Your great outfit could be a skirt, cropped pants or torn jeans -- whatever makes you feel beautiful. You don't necessarily need a new outfit to get this feeling. A tried-and-true one will also do the trick!
