The color palette for summer 2001 is an intense, vibrant multicolored range. It will take you from flamboyant to ethnic to fresh as a floral bouquet!

Remember the fluorescence craze in the eighties? Guess what, it's back! Look for hot pink and neon yellow, orange, and blue, especially in shoes, handbags, and accessories.

Pink and red combinations will be super hot! Look for violet reds, rich fuchsia tones, and bright pinks like candy, watermelon, and strawberry. Ethnic spice colors like paprika, cumin, and cayenne warm up the season. Spice colors will glow when teamed with bright greens and purples.

Blues and greens go from au naturel to ultra-bright. Look for earthy greens: swamp, olive, and khaki. On the bright side, go for brilliant yellow green and kelly green. Be inspired by the ocean's range of sunlit blues: turquoise, aqua, cyan, indigo, and deep ultramarine.
