I am wearing a new navy suit for an interview and realized that I don't have navy shoes--should I wear black or brown?

Go with the black shoes since they are closer to navy than brown. The brown shoes will stand out and contrast too much. To really blend the colors, wear very sheer nearly-black pantyhose, which are a little warmer in tone than common black. In general, black shoes are a good choice with any dark colors if you don’t have shoes in the exact shade of the fabric.
