The Jewelry Design Program offers students the opportunity to develop specialized skills necessary for a career in the design and execution of creative and functional jewelry. The in-depth program encompasses rendering, historical knowledge of jewelry, metalsmithing, wax carving, computer aided design, and the development of a sample case portfolio of the jewelry designed and made by the student. In the course of this program, students will apply their knowledge and practical expertise to the creation of aesthetically appealing designs for a wide range of markets in the global jewelry design field.
