HOUSE OF DESIGN - The Children's Bath

With a high tile wainscot and traditional detailing, the Upstairs Bath reflects the character of its setting. The handmade wall tile, each piece slightly unique, is installed in a brick pattern with a trim cap and baseboard. The 4X4 floor pattern is set in a traditional manner, diagonally with a straight border. Dual pedestal sinks are framed by sconces and slender mirrors that echo the proportions of the room. A cabinet provides storage and counter space. Antique hand coloured monkey prints hang on the pale toned walls. The large, sunny window is filtered with lacquered tortoise shell blinds while a custom Mattelasse shower curtain shelters the tub.
