Branding Option

Branding is a key component in marketing any product successfully. In FIDM's Branding Option, Graphic Design Students explore in depth the essentials of creating and promoting brand identity. This includes logo and symbol design, desktop publishing, website design, developing characters for art and product licensing, collateral material, and giving personality and individuality to a brand.
FIDM Graphic Design Students in the Branding Option develop a visual understanding of a brand and its relationship to their target audience. Graduates go on to enter the Industry as Graphic Artists, Junior Art Directors, and Website Artists.
The Branding Option capitalizes on FIDM's nearly 40 years in the Fashion/Retail Merchandising and Marketing arenas. FIDM maintains strong partnerships with major fashion and retail manufacturers in product branding as well as hard goods, i.e., Disney Stores, Warner Bros., and The Children's Place. Graduates are equipped to take advantage of FIDM's exceptional access to career opportunities in the Fashion and Advertising worlds.
