The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is proud to present an online gallery showcasing this year's exciting Debut 2004 runway collections. Debut 2004 is an annual Fashion Show and Gala Event attended by industry leaders and supporters of the FIDM Scholarship Foundation. The Fashion Show features designs by graduating students in FIDM's Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Advanced Study Programs. Each Fashion Design student creates and presents a collection based on personal aesthetic choices with principles and design skills learned at FIDM. Theatre Costume students conclude their third year with the design and construction of a costume based on a theme. This year's theme is "Yankee Doodle Dandy."
