The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising takes pride in once again hosting the spectacular L.A. Fashion Gala, Debut '98.

The event showcases the work of graduates of FIDM's third-year Advanced Study Programs in Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design. Each Fashion Design student presented a collection based on the aesthetic principles and design skills learned at FIDM.

Theatre Costume Design students concluded their three-year intense education with the design and construction of a costume based on the theme "Literary Heroines Depicted on the Silver Screen."

As in past years, the formal black-tie affair is attended by hundreds of Fashion and Entertainment decision-makers. FIDM is honored to present this elite corp of designers.
